Debora Benincasa was born in Florence in 1990 and currently lives in Turin. She is part of the Anomalia Teatro company and runs the Laboratorio Malaerba, where she teaches dramaturgy and improvisation. Her Antigone – Monologo per donna sola won the Mauro Rostagno Award and was selected for the Italian theater festival in New York. Lady Macbeth – God Save the Queen received an honorable mention at the Premio Inedito. She made her debut with SuiGeneris and has three plays to her credit: Antigone – Monologo per donna sola, Theo – storia del cane che guardava le stelle, and Lady Macbeth – God Save the Queen.
