Diego Pleuteri

Born in 1998, he became involved in the Milan theater scene at a very young age. During his training, he met Daria Deflorian, Martin Crimp, and Rafael Spregelburd, among others. He attended the Playwriting course at the Paolo Grassi Civic Theater School and in 2024 graduated from the School for Actors at the Teatro Stabile in Turin, directed by Valerio Binasco.
Madri, written in 2019, received a special mention at the InediTo award in 2020 and in 2022 was selected by the Italian committee of Eurodram. Winner of the SIAE competition together with Corte Ospitale, the play was staged in 2024, directed by Alice Sinigaglia.
In 2022, he worked as playwright's assistant for Leonardo Lidi's Misantropo, for which he wrote Come nei giorni migliori in 2023, both produced by the Teatro Stabile. In 2024, he collaborated with the Teatro Stabile as a playwright for Appello all'Europa (Appeal to Europe) directed by Micol Jalla, adapted Franco Antonicelli's Festa Grande di Aprile (April Grand Festival) and translated William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale into hendecasyllables.
Since 2025, he has been resident playwright at the Teatro Stabile di Torino.
