Edoardo Lugarini provides training in Language Education, Language Teaching, and Italian as a foreign language. He is a lecturer at the Promoitals Master's program of the University of Milan, which trains teachers of Italian as a second and foreign language. Emergency is an Italian humanitarian association founded in Milan in 1994 (ONLUS and NGO). Its goal is to offer free, high-quality medical and surgical support to victims of war, landmines, and poverty. Thanks to the coordination and activities of volunteers, the association actively promotes the values of peace, solidarity, and respect for human rights.

Francesco Cavalli Sforza studied at Berkeley, Trento, and Milan, where he majored in Philosophy. He first worked as a director and then as an author, publishing popular science books. Gian Enrico Rusconi is an Italian historian, political scientist, and philosopher. He is a professor of Political Science at the University of Turin. He is a columnist for the daily newspaper La Stampa. Igiaba Scego is a writer and journalist of Somali origin. She is specialized in Pedagogy and Postcolonial issues. She collaborates with Internazionale, L'Unità, and L'Espresso. Her books include the memoir La mia casa è dove sono (My home is where I am), published by Rizzoli, which won the Mondello Prize in 2011, and Adua, published by Giunti.

Marco Rossi-Doria taught in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Rome, Naples, the United States, Kenya, and France. A pioneer in street education, he co-founded the Chance project. He served as Undersecretary of State for Education and received the Gold Medal of the President of the Republic for culture, education, and schooling. Nicola Crepax is director of the Fondazione per la Scuola della Compagnia di San Paolo (Foundation for Education of the Compagnia di San Paolo) and has taught Economic History and Business History at Bocconi University, Cattaneo University in Castellanza, and the University of Eastern Piedmont.
