Marta Bulgherini

Marta Bulgherini, actress and writer, graduated in acting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and holds a degree in Economics, Finance, and Business Law from the University of Rome La Sapienza. Her career spans between theater and audiovisual media. She has acted for Luca Miniero in Sono Tornato, for Matteo Garrone in DogMan, and in Domani è un altro giorno directed by Simone Spada. She is part of the main cast of the series Più Forti del destino directed by Alexis Sweet and Le Libere Donne by Michele Soavi, releasing in 2025, and also appears in Luna Park currently on Netflix. She is a founding member of the Collettivo Nonnaloca, a female-led theater production collective, with which she has created several shows and formats distributed throughout Italy. Generazione Pasolini is her first play and directorial work: the piece won the fourteenth edition of the Salviamo i Talenti showcase at Teatro Vittoria in Rome, the Award for Best Playwriting at the Torino Fringe Festival 2024, and the Critics’ Prize at FringeMi. She debuted in 2024 with her second play C’ho la Scoliosi | Ode all’impossibilità (fisica, giuro!) di tenere la schiena ben dritta and is currently producing Alfons(in)a, a play centered on the cyclist Alfonsina Strada.
